Webber International University
A new season brings a new winner. Webber International men's team started out the collegiate bowling season with a victory at the Midwest Collegiate Shootout in Wauwatusa, WI. This tournament is the first Tier 1 event of the season and draws some of the best teams in the country. A victory is just what Webber's Men's team needed after a disappointing ending to last year's season at nationals. One major benefit of being a new school is having a young team returning such a high percentage of starters each season. During the 2010-2011 USBC Collegiate season, Webber International is wearing EFX performance bracelets to perform at the highest level possible.
Junior, Marcelo Suartz from Sao Paulo, Brazil is one of Webber's leaders and most talented players. As a multiple time team Brazil member and someone who has competed around the world for their country, Marcelo knows what is needed to perform at the highest level. "One of the keys to good bowling is having good balance; thanks to EFX, I felt a big improvement in our team's average in posting the shots on our first win of the season," Marcelo says about his team after winning their first tournament. As the collegiate season continues more and more teams are starting to jump on team EFX. Don't let your team be the last!!
